The Forged Japanese Knife Type 1 from Horl Japan is a large knife with a broad, curved point. A butcher knife is also called a butcher's ax or cleaver. Horl Japan's knives are unique as most of them are handmade. Forged from two layers of steel pressed onto a layer of carbon. This is based on an old Japanese technique. This makes the knives indispensable in every kitchen.
